The below photo shows INTERSHIP team supervising safe delivery of a food container to CSD PHOENIX, one of the 36 dredgers working in the new canal project.
The project includes digging of 35km of a new waterway parallel to the existing one to a depth of 24m and width of 317m, so that the new Canal can accommodate vessels with up to 66 ft. draught. 134 days remain until its inauguration.
