Vickers Oils started trading in 1828 and remains a private, independent company now led by the 5th generation of the family to work in the company.

Vickers Oils started in Leeds, UK and we are still based here. Today our business is truly global, and we have customers in over 60 countries and regional stock points worldwide.
In 2002 Vickers Oils launched the world’s first biodegradable sterntube oil, HYDROX BIO, which quickly became the industry standard.
Now, after serving the marine industry with mineral based lubricants for more than one hundred years, our main focus for the future is the continued development of our award winning Environmentally Acceptable Lubricant range.
